These guys do a great job. We have a relatively old house and had a bit of a pest problem a few years back. They came in and did a full pest control of our entire house and even our yard. We still use them a few times a year. We have never had a problem with pest since.
Best Pest Control Service in San Antonio! We have been using A Five Star for years as our pest control company of choice. They even did an emergency bee removal for us once (once my kids saw the hive they wouldn’t go out back again until they were gone). They are the only exterminators we will ever call again!
We have known and used A Five Star Pest for our residential pest control for years and years. We started way back when we lived in San Antonio and still use them now that we’ve moved to Universal City. They still provide the same exceptional termite control and general insect control service that they always have. We recently called them for an emergency bee removal and the kids were so happy to hear that the bees were moving as part of a bee relocation program to a nicer area where they could buzz around with other bees. My husband referred Rick and his guys to his boss and now his office uses them for their commercial pest control as well. They just had their first termite inspection in years and had A Five Star work on their incessant ant control problem. We just wanted to give a big thanks!
A Five Star Termite & Pest Control were referred to us by my sister. They had provided excellent exterminator service for her for years so when we moved to San Antonio, it was only natural that we would give them a try as well. When we moved in, we had purchased a couple of used mattresses that we suspected had bed bugs. The mattresses were already in the house when we realized we might have a problem so we called Rick and his guys to do a bed bug inspection and subsequent bed bug control. Gross – luckily A Five Star are a top notch pest control company and got rid of them and they haven’t returned thankfully. Since then, we have called them for all of our pest management needs – various wildlife removals, general pest control like ants, cockroaches and mice removal etc. Once we even called the for a bee removal. My boys were worried until Rick explained that it was a bee relocation – he was finding a new home for the bees. Thanks for everything, the Hendricks.
We hold A Five Star Pest Control in the highest regard. We’ve used them for years for all of our residential pest control inspections and spraying. We met them years ago when we lived in San Antonio and we still use them now that we live in New Braunfels. They are experienced, licensed exterminators who really care and know how to deal with any pest or termite control problem we send their way – like thorough termite inspections and an emergency bee removal just a couple of weeks ago! Recently we signed up for general pest and insect control via their commercial pest control department and they provide the same high level of service at work that they provide at home.
Excellent residential exterminator and pest control service. We have used them for the last year and a half for all of our general pest control – specifically cockroach control and ant control. We recently hired A Five Star Pest Control to do a real estate termite inspection and they did a thorough job and explained everything to us in laymans terms. We kept them on for the termite control and it has really helped our peace of mind knowing that termites aren’t doing any more damage. Thanks guys!
We tried for over a year to get rid of a mouse control problem on our own. We were hesitant to hire a professional because we are true do it yourselfers and revel in conquering whatever problems come our way but A Five Star Pest Control was great from the get go. Setting up the appointment was simple and the customer service over the phone was great walking me through the process. The exterminator technician was on time, knowledgeable, friendly and most importantly thorough. Their rodent control cleared up the problem pretty quick. We signed up for their regular maintenance schedule and now they do all of our pest management from general pest and termite control to bee removal to an annoying bed bug control issue last month. We get great service and their green pest control products and procedures are safe for our dog too.
My family and I moved to San Antonio not too long ago. After moving into our new home we started finding rodent droppings as well as a few cockroaches and ants. Our new neighbors recommended San Antonio A Five Star Termite & Pest Control for residential pest control. I called them and scheduled a time for them to come our to do the pest inspection and treat for the pests and rodents that were there. They were on time and so friendly. I am on a scheduled maintenance plan with A Five Star Termite & Pest Control to take care of all of my pest management and termite control needs. This company is great, from the office staff to the exterminators, they are all very organized, professional and customer service oriented. I feel great about their green pest control methods and the ecological, family / pet safe nature of the products they use. In fact, that’s why we originally chose them – due to their environmentally friendly approach that is also very effective too. Every summer, ants attempt to enter my kitchen and wreak havoc but the ant control from A Five Star keeps them at bay without harming my daughter and cats. I recently had large populations of various spiders in my house, including black widows and would see about 5 on any given day. Since the focused spider control, I’ve seen only 2 spiders over a span of weeks! Thank you again, especially from Ruby.
I was terrified when I heard a squeaky kind of sound and scratching somewhere in the ceiling. I immediately surfed the web and found A Five Star Pest Control who said offers nuisance wildlife removal. The exterminator came out in no time and did an excellent job. They found a raccoon and babies and were able to trap them (while remaining calm because I certainly wasn’t) and without hurting them. They even gave me advice about raccoons and wildlife and how to avoid this problem in the future. I wish I had heard of them when I needed bed bug control last spring. Instead, I hired a company that my boyfriend knew and it was a very different experience. From now on I will only be calling A Five Star for all of my pest and ant control etc!
Had pest concern and Richard came out and provided a free inspection along with a detailed explanation of what he could do to help me. Richard had the best price among 2 other quotes I got and we scheduled a time for him to complete the service. Upon completion, Richard explained what he did in detail and showed me the products he used to treat my home. Richard was ON TIME and quick to return phone calls. Very satisfied, thank you !

We are a military family and just got stationed in San Antonio. We were excited to move but our new place definitely needed some work. It was an old house and right away I suspected termites and knew we needed an exterminator so I called A Five Star Termite & Pest Control for a termite inspection. These guys looked everywhere – around the baseboard and door frames, the perimeter of the house etc. They were really thorough and unfortunately termites were present but thankfully they did the termite control which is one less thing on my mind to worry about. The termite removal was pretty routine and it;s a relief not to worry about the house falling down around us. Now we are going to use them for all of our pest management issues that arise, until we move again.

Scott from 5 Star is a hard working good guy! Came out to do an exclusion on my home and did an excellent job. It was a 100+ degree day and Scott was on our roof for hours creating barriers to keep ringtail and such out of our attic. Got to love a company that is smart enough to employ such committed people as Scott.

Great service and good pricing. Showed up on time and was knowledgeable. Our new house had brown recluse spiders due to being vacant and the recent rain. By the next day of the service we didn’t see any spiders and haven’t since… At least they aren’t alive anymore. Will be using this company quarterly moving forward.
